The back of the 
Piko Hammer actually does more damage than the front of it. If 
Erina stands in front of an enemy and starts her combo, she can turn around mid-combo and hit the enemy with the back of her Piko Hammer. These hits deal 75% more damage than they normally would (only if the hammer itself hits, not the extended range).
