Features

- Erina's Hitbox is now displayed at the beginning of boss fights and when using "Slow Movement".
- Bunny Amulet regeneration speed further increased with Regen Up.
- Each New Game+ Loop now gives a +12 Max PP bonus.
- 99 PP Limit Removed.
- Soul Heart now gives a Max HP + 5% bonus.
- These items no longer affect boss level: Carrot Shooter, Spike Barrier, Soul Heart
(Sunny Beam, Healing Staff, Explode Shot, Chaos Rod and Strange Box already have no affect on boss level)
- Added "??? Boss Rush". A preview of a upcoming new Boss Rush.
- Added an achievement.
- Added Comic 4A and 4B. icon

System Tweak

- Xbox Controllers: The B Button now acts as a cancel button to fit with the XBox Controller Standard. A and B Button will always act as
Confirm/Cancel no matter how the keybind is changed.

- Rearranged option menu items. (Setting are all reset in this update.)
- Renamed options setting file to "options.dat".
- "Resolution" added under "Video and Sound". The default setting is 720p but now you can change it to 1080p or even 4k. (Cicini: "...4K
Pixel...?")

- You can also reduce the render resolution to get a big performance boost.

- Fixed a bug where defeating a boss during her teleporting would soft lock the game.
- Fixed a bug in Nieve's boss fight that affected hit registration.
- Fixed missing T.Chinese item descriptions.
- Fixed a text overlapping problem in S.Chinese.
- Fixed minor errors in German and French story dialogues.
- Fixed minor errors in Japanese text.
- Fixed minor texture errors.
- Fixed some text using the wrong font (Arial).
- Fixed possible Cocoa disappearing bug in New Game+.
- During Seana's 2nd Boss Battle, NPC dialogues will be skipped if the player retries after a Game Over.
- Buff/Debuff names will now stay hidden in Boss Rush and Loop3+.
- Changed minor terrain in Golden Pyramid and Rabi Rabi Ravine.
- Optimized one of the Starting Forest's background.
- Launch option "Reset all settings / Safe Mode" now deletes all save thumbnails to fix a possible corrupt image crash. 

Advanced Launched Option (Rabi-Ribi > Properties > Launch Options)

- Added "-monitor0" to "-monitor6" for launching the game in different monitors.
- Added "-softsound" to disable hardware sound mixing
- Added "-nosound" to disable audio output.
- Added "-safemode" to reset all settings.
- Added "-nopreload" to disable texture preloading.
- Added "-dx9" "-dx9e" to force DirectX Version.

The following options should only be used for troubleshooting and may do more harm than good:
-dx0 -4:3 -16:10 -21:9 -70hz -75hz -85hz -100hz -120hz -144hz -165hz - 200hz -xaudio2 -fasttexture -16bitcolor -nobilinear 

- and two hidden bonus launched options...

This one went out silently (except if you got caught in the downtime during the update).

It only features two things

1- The user tracker has been improved and is more strict with the timeouts so that it doesn't flood anymore.

2- The maps can now features Room Connections. This was a long awaited update that I kept postponing because I wanted to make things BIG! So big, that it was taking forever to work on it. In the next few days, the maps will slowly begin to contains connections. You can see the picture on the right for what the final result will be. (Not all connections were included, but it gives the general idea.)

I went ahead and skipped the announcement for Release 18.1 and decided to merge it up with 18.2 (which was going to be released very shortly after 18.1 anyway)

As usual, if you find any bugs, feel free to leave a comment on this thread. It is easier for me to track them down.

Front-end
  • Fixed weird positionning of the Map/Minimap Tooltips
  • "Minimap" is now bigger!
  • The Item list page is now complete. Items were placed the same way the game lays them out.
  • Item requirements are now completely done for upgrades, power ups and easter eggs. You can view them on a specific room page (iconIcy Summit #1001) or by selecting the item on the Item list (iconGold Carrot). You can also view what a certain item will give you access to (the mighty iconCarrot Bomb has tons!!)
  • Remastered the User Tracker (see bottom of the left menu) to be a 'little' more accurate.
  • Added boss fights information on the map. These leads nowhere for now, but at least we can see boss pictures on the map (and the room page)
  • Added requirements to reach bosses as well.
Back-end
  • The old fashioned way that Items were stored on the map is now completely gone (did a good ol' drop table after being unused for since release 12.1)
  • Simplified the Map Drawing functions for better loading times
  • Added a scheduler for repetitive tasks which will now execute on separate threads (reduces load time)
  • Fixed the Activity Manager (User Tracker)

Release 17.3 brings more stability (well... I sure hope so...)

List of changes

Front-end
  • Added more emote face (handcrafted and based on those from the Steam badgecraft: icon icon icon
  • Entries can now be deleted by their author (or any moderator). You have up to 24 hours to undo this.
  • Entry authors will now be able to control their work! Added icon buttons with functions bound to them: Delete, Edit (with and without BBCode conversion), Upload picture, Link YouTube video and, for moderators only, Approve.
  • Added similar options to Media elements: Edit (title) and Delete. Note that deleting a Media element is immediate.
  • Added Preview Mode to entries. When using A LOT of BBCodes and inbound links in an entry, editing it afterwards can take up a lot of time just to laod the editor. I decided to add an inbound link free version of the editor, but not being able to see the result was kind of sad. Preview mode will show the final result.
  • Added the Follow Page feature. When following a page, anytime someone fills in data about the page, you will receive a notification.
  • You can also follow a particular user, notifiying you whenever THEY post new data, regardless of your followed pages.
  • Note that you will receive notifications automatically for achievements you haven't done if you synchronized them.
Back-end
  • Following the added features to the entry editor, a lot of code was changed to allow smoother BBCode loading.
  • Added a few more detailed fields to some database entity to reduce the calculation time on page loading.
Delayed
  • A more stable version of the user tracker. It currently does a lot of silent crashes.

Front-end
  • Added the Badge page here! (finally...)
  • More BBCodes for inbound links (now includes Regions (iconStarting Forest, iconSystem Interior, iconFloating Graveyard, etc...)
  • Able to highlight a specific region when viewing a map (click any of the ones linked previously)
  • Added regions thumbnails (for the inbound links)
  • Users are now able to upload pictures when submitting data entries (up to 1MB) or animated gifs (up to 3MB)
  • The interface to upload pictures or link YouTube video has been 'simplified'
  • Uploading pictures will generate thumbnails (of smaller size) to reduce the loading time
  • Speaking of loading time... Every page entries / comments / pictures / videos now load up dynamically (faster)
  • Added some of the characters bio (more to come in the next few days)
  • Now that items can be stacked in one map square, dummy rooms were removed (rooms outside the map)
  • Likes can now be seen by any user
  • Added likes for media elements (pictures / gifs / videos)
  • Notification system revamp (has been completely wiped off and remade from scratch)
